"Straight from the shoulder " by Toshio Masuda-Samurai Lecturer

I, Toshio Masuda, am the descendant of Tozaemon Hayami, who was one of the famous forty-seven ronins. The story dates back to 1701, when the Tokugawa Shogunate ruled Japan.
In the story, forty-seven ronin avenge their lord Asano Takumi No Kami of Ako Castle (located 600 km west of Edo (present day Tokyo)) by killing Kozunosuke Kira, an extremely corrupt Shogunate official who had publicly insulted Asano at the Edo Castle and bribed his subordinate feudal lords. In the end, the ronin commit harakiri with the aim of initiating political reform. Japanese TV stations all broadcast the story of the forty-seven ronin every year on December 14, which was the day their earnest desire was fulfilled. During my usual lectures, I start out by stating, "I am a samurai, and samurai never tell lies. Today, I am going to tell you a truth about the world," revealing truths that have remained hidden behind superficial facades.
I released a rare best-selling book entitled "Bush, You Too?" three months before the 9/11 terrorist attack of 2001. In my book, I predicted "the U.S. will become upside down a day before September 12 (the trial date of one of the suspects in the simultaneous bombing of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania), and President Bush will go to war." In August 30 of that same year, I disclosed the details of my book and advised securities companies to "conduct a short-sale on major American airline companies" at a lecture attended by Hawaii's state governor, former governor, and executives of major securities companies. (As United and American Airlines crashed into the World Trade Center, airline stocks crashed, and my advice generated unprecedented profits.)
The list of my other accurate predictions that led to profit is endless. On October 22, 2018, I predicted the California wildfire, which occurred on November 8th, 2018, and advised about a hundred investors to conduct a short-sale on the stocks of a certain power company. Although the stock price of the said power company had been stable for many years around $40, it dropped more than 60% during the week after the fire had started. To their great surprise, investors reaped huge profits by short-selling the stocks and then buying them back.
I was a perfectionist from childhood, and I kept asking various questions ever since I can remember, such as why the sky is blue, or why blue frogs turn brown in the fall. For that reason, my parents frequently took me to the library. The list of questions became endless even as an adult, including the following: why an outsider was able to simultaneously blast those two U.S. embassies, and whether Al Qaeda is actually capable of using high performance explosives. To elucidate these matters, I gathered chemical samples from the the actual bomb sites, and had them analyzed at a university. Moreover, President Clinton determined that a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Sudan was Al Qaeda's poison manufacturer, and bombed them with missiles in retaliation against Al Qaeda, but when I went to the site, the plant turned out to be located in a residential area, and it was only manufacturing health supplements.
Nine suspects of the bombing of the U.S. embassy were acquitted on September 12, 2001 at the New York District Court, making it very clear that the true culprit will be revealed very soon. On the day before the trial date (September 12), the 20-member defense team, which had been preparing for the following day's trial on the 30th floor of the World Trade Center since early morning, along with witnesses and numerous pieces of evidence, all disappeared from the face of this earth. Once you lie, you end up having to make numerous other lies to cover up the initial lie. So it was only natural that Al Qaeda should be targeted as a scapegoat for 9/11. The timing of when you tell the truth can either be good or bad.
A good time to tell the truth is when your own safety can be ensured, and when the truth brings you some profit. A bad time is when you might endanger your life, and not even profit from it. I personally never tell the truth when the timing is bad.
