Samurai’s Crazy Prediction for Stock Markets in 2021
Since all the world financial markets follow the NY Stock Exchange, I foresee that by the end of March the Dow will soar up from the present $30,500 to $34,000. By the end of the year it will reach $40,000, with the financial markets of all advanced nations following the suit. Before making this prediction, I’ve advised my Japanese investors to focus their attention on December 29, 2020 when, I said, the Nikkei will rise sky-high. In fact, on that very day Nikkei reached the dizzy height of JPY714. I also predicted that from January 2021 the market would turn bullish, due to the worsening state of the world economies hit by Corvid-19. An economy heading for recovery produces a bear market, while an economy in decline is more likely to result in bull market. NY Dow moves along with the quantity of fiat money created by FRB (Federal Reserve Bank). Since Nixon Shock of August 15, 1971 that marked departure from the gold standard, the general belief was that unlimited fiat money would force the fiscal into bankruptcy. Yet that has never happened, and surely will not happen in the future. Whom would you rather trust: the Nobel Prize scholars saying that the fiscal systems will be broken with massive debts piled up, day by day, thanks to a flood of fiat money? Or perhaps the bottle of wine you hold in your hand, purchased with the fiat money? Man has no need for the grand Theory of fiscal bankruptcy, but does need the Reality of a bottle of wine. The stock market will swim along famously in the pool fed by endless supply of fresh water brought in for fear of Covid-19.
